Dec. 16, 2013 Today Greenliant announced availability of its eMMC NANDrive™ embedded solid state drives (SSDs). eMMC NANDrive operates at full industrial temperatures between -40 and +85 degrees Celsius, giving customers data storage in a small, ball grid array (BGA) form factor that can withstand the most extreme environments—from the Arctic to the Sahara.

These high-capacity 1-bit-per-cell (SLC) NAND-based SSDs are designed for specialized applications that need additional storage with higher reliability, better performance and lower power consumption. Industrial grade SATA NANDrive gives customers a robust, ball grid array (BGA) form-factor SSD with a long lifetime.

Jul. 29, 2013 Greenliant Systems today announced that it is entering the mSATA solid state drive market. The new product, mSATA ArmourDrive™, is designed for industrial, medical, military and networking applications. Greenliant took the features of its SATA NANDrive™ BGA (ball grid array) solid state drives to give customers a small form-factor, removable storage option. mSATA ArmourDrive operates between -40 to +85 degrees Celsius and has built-in power interrupt data protection.

Greenliant Brings Full Industrial Temperature Capability to e.MMC with New NANDrive™ Embedded SSDs
Jul. 27, 2012 The new NANDrive devices support the JEDEC e.MMC 4.4 standard and are backward compatible with 4.3. While the JEDEC operating temperature range specification is -25 to +85 degrees Celsius, e.MMC NANDrive operates at full industrial temperatures between -40 and +85 degrees Celsius, giving customers data storage that can withstand the most severe conditions.
